The first automatic skeleton “Hermitage” is inspired by the Hermitage (Hermitage) Museum of Art and Culture in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is the second largest art museum in the world, founded in 1764 and housing a large collection of rich and historical buildings and art of the Russian emperors.
These works of art were the inspiration for the design of this automatic watch: Classic and artistically skeletonized, the skeleton is characterized by a mixture of traditional arabesques, as well as round and curved shapes. The rings, located at the center of the watch, reveal a glimpse of the balance wheel and barrel, complemented by skeletonized rotors.
The mix of silver and beige elements give the skeleton a traditional yet timeless character - as do the timeless works of art in the Hermitage Museum.
This version of the very high-quality automatic model comes with a brown calfskin strap and has an unmistakable charisma that comes to the fore the first time you wear the watch.
ABOUT POLJOT INTERNATIONAL
The roots of the watch brand “Poljot-International” date back to the 1930s, when the “First State Watch Factory” was founded in Moscow. In 1961, after the flight of the first citizen of the earth, Yuri Gagarin, into space, the watches produced by the factory were given the designation “Poljot” (the flight).
All watches of the brand “Poljot-International” are manufactured in Germany today. Nevertheless, the charm and delicacy in the design, the skilful hands of the master watchmakers, the warmth of the Russian soul and, of course, the love for Russia can be seen and felt.
